Material

For technical data, this product title is best matched to EN 10305-4 grade E235 in delivery condition +N. It is a seamless cold-drawn precision carbon steel tube for hydraulic and pneumatic power systems, with precisely defined tolerances and specified surface roughness. The EN 10305 tube family is also widely used in vehicle and general engineering applications.


Specification

Manufacturing route: seamless, cold drawn, normalized (+N). Ordering is preferably by outside diameter × wall thickness, though OD × ID or ID × wall thickness can also be specified. EN 10305-4 lists preferred precision sizes in its standard table and allows non-listed dimensions by agreement; the standard length is 6 m +50/-0 mm, or exact 6 m +10/-0 mm unless otherwise agreed. Standard surface roughness is Ra ≤ 4 μm, with Ra ≤ 2 μm available for the inner surface as an option. For tubes with OD above 15 mm and lengths above 1000 mm, straightness is limited to 0.0015L and 3 mm per metre.
