Classification of stainless steel pipe: stainless steel seamless steel pipe and stainless

steel welded steel pipe (seamless steel pipe) are two basic categories. According to

the outer diameter shape of steel pipe it can be divided into circular pipe and special-

shaped pipe.Circular steel pipe is widely used, but there are also some special-shaped

steel pipes such as square, rectangle, semicircle, hexagon, equilateral triangle and octagon.

Application scope of stainless steel pipe:

It is widely used in industrial transmission pipelines and mechanical structural parts such as petroleum,

chemical industry, medical treatment, food, light industry, machinery and instruments.

The production process of stainless steel pipe is mainly as follows:

1. Tape ordering: it is the raw material of steel strip before processing. The steel plant

supplies according to customer needs.

2. Calendering: press the rolling plate like rolling noodles with a calender to know that

the thickness of the rolled plate is the same as that of the required pipe.

A coiled plate can only be pressed to one thickness.

3. Annealing: after calendering, the material distribution of the coil is uneven, the physical

properties are not up to standard, and the toughness is not enough, so it needs to be

annealed - go through a furnace with a high temperature of 1000 ℃ again to restore

its normal stainless steel properties.

4. Slitting: slitting is carried out according to the outer diameter of the pipe to be

produced, and the large plate is divided into different widths.

5. Pipe making: put the steel strip with powder strips into the pipe making machine

with different pipe diameter molds for production, roll it into corresponding shapes, and then weld it.

6. Polishing: after the pipe is welded and formed, the surface is polished by a polishing machine.

The original blackened surface is polished by a polishing machine equipped with wax, hemp wheel

and cloth wheel and then polished into silver bright color.
