End finish:
When pipe ends are to be flared for butt-welding with the use of baking rings, the ends shall be beleved to an angle of 30 +5,-0° measured from a line drawn perpendicular tothe axis of the pipe, and with a root face of 1.6±0.8 mm. The pipe ends shall have burrs removed from both the inside and outside deges.
When pipe ends are to be prepred for bell and spigot jointing, the ends shall be cut square with the axis of the pipe, the inside abd outside edges shall be smooth and free of burrs.
