ASTM A463 T1 Aluminized Steel is a new type product which is widely used recent years.
It contains 90%aluminium and 10% silicon.
Also, it has good heat resistance, heat reflection and corrosion resistance, and its mechanical
and physical properties are better thancold-rolled steel sheet. Because of its superior performance,
aluminized steel sheet has been widely used in our daily necessities.
For example, automobile mufflers, household appliances, etc. Also included the LNG and gas & oil insulation
terminal projects in Mid east and southeast Asia.

Because the density of aluminium-silicon is lower than that of zinc, the coating weight canbe less by using aluminium-silicon
a dozen times than that of galvanized products.
Aluminium-silicon products have good high temperature resistance, there almost isn't any change even during long-term use below 550
℃.
Aluminium-silicon has excellent heat reflectivity, with a light reflectance of about 80% when the temperature below 500 ℃.
The friction coefficient of aluminium-silicon coated products is lower, and low friction
coefficient is favorable for drawing and forming.
