316L EFW Tubes is commonly used in many industrial applications involving processing chemicals, and is as well used in high-saline environments such as coastal regions and outdoor areas where de-icing salts are common. The carbon content in SS 316 Tubes is held to 0.08 percent maximum, while the nickel content is increased slightly. Due to its non-reactive qualities,is also used in the manufacture of medical surgical instruments.These items have chemical and mechanical properties complying with Grade 316 Tubes specifications. Heavy welded sections in Grade 316L Tubes require post-weld annealing for maximum corrosion resistance.
The Stainless Steel 316/316L Tubes standard specification is ASME SA/ASTM A 213/A269/A249. The size of this grade tube is ranging from 1/8"NB to 30"NB IN. The tubes are in 0.35mm to 6.35mm OD in thickness ranges in 0.1mm to 1.2mm. The schedules of it are like welded, ERW, LSAW, fabricated, seamless etc. The form in which it is available is hydraulic, square, round, rectangle etc. The length in which it is available is single and double random and in cut length. The ends are treaded, plain and beveled ends.
