Stainless Steel Seamless Pipes For Fluid Transport, made according to Chinese national standard GB/T 14976-94.
GB/T 14976-94 is a standard applicable for stainless steel seamless pipes which is produced by hot -rolled (extruded and expanded) or cold-drawn (cold-rolled) and used for fluid transport.
Steel pipes fall into two categories, i.e. the hot -rolled (extruded and expanded) steel pipes and cold-drawn (cold-rolled) steel pipes.

Length:
The ordinary lengths of steel pipes are specified as follows:
Hot-rolled (extruded and expanded) steel pipes: 2 ~12m
Cold-drawn (cold-rolled) steel pipes: 2 ~ 8m
The length to be supplied for the cold-drawn (cold-rolled) steel pipes with O.D ≤ 10mm shall not be smaller than 1m.
Bending tolerance:
Wall thickness < 15mm, Bending≤ 1.5 mm/m
Wall thickness ≥15mm, Bending≤ 2.0 mm/m
Hot expanded pipes, Bending≤ 3.0 mm/m
Shape of ends:
Both ends of pipes shall be cut squarely and burs shall be removed from the ends.

Manufacture process:
Steel shall be smelted using arc furnace.
It is possible to use the other processed for smelting the steel after an agreement is reached between the supplier and the client.
Steel pipes shall be manufactured using hot-rolling (extruding and expanding) or cold-drawing (cold-rolling) processes. In case, a special manufacture process is requested by the client, it shall be specified in the contract.
Delivery condition:
Steel pipes shall be delivered after the heat treatment and pickling are made in the manufacturer.
Mechanical properties:
The longitudinal mechanical properties of steel pipes under heat treatment conditions (tensile strength and elongation) shall comply with the specifications made in the following table. It is possible to determine the yield strength of steel pipes upon the request made by the client when it is specified in the contract.
