This product is an electric-resistance-welded (ERW) carbon steel pipe designed for ordinary/utility piping—typically used to convey steam, water, oil, gas, air, and other general fluids under relatively low service pressure.
Manufacturing process: High-frequency ERW longitudinal seam.
Typical size range (SGP / JIS ordinary piping): OD 10.5–508.0 mm (DN 6A–500A) with corresponding standard wall thickness series.
End finishes: Plain end, threaded (BSPT/NPT on request), beveled ends available.
Surface: Black (as-welded) or galvanized (“white pipe” supply option).
Inspection & tests (typical by standard): Tensile, bend/flattening where required; hydrostatic and/or NDT per ordering standard.
Cost-effective piping solution for general-purpose utility lines.
Good weldability and threadability for fast installation in building and plant piping systems.
Consistent dimensional control suitable for fittings, couplings, and grooved connections (when specified).
Flexible supply options: black, galvanized, cut-to-length, end preparation, and marking.
1) “Is the ERW weld seam reliable?”
Yes. For example, ASTM A53 includes requirements such as weld seam heat treatment for Grade B Type E/Type F and specifies inspection/testing frameworks to ensure weld integrity.
2) “Do you perform pressure/leak testing?”
We can supply with hydrostatic testing per the selected standard and purchase requirements (common in major pipe standards).
3) “How do you control weld quality (NDT)?”
For standards that require it (e.g., ASTM A53 for certain sizes/grades), the weld seam can be subjected to nondestructive electric testing (UT/EM methods per referenced practices).
4) “Can I get traceability and mill documentation?”
Yes—shipment can include Mill Test Certificate (MTC), and standards such as ASTM A53 describe providing chemical analysis reporting for specified elements.
5) “What about corrosion protection for outdoor or humid environments?”
We offer black pipe for indoor/general use and hot-dip galvanized options for improved corrosion resistance in outdoor/humidity-prone applications.
6) “Will it match my fittings and site practices?”
We support common delivery configurations: plain ends, threaded & coupled, and length customization—aligned with ordinary piping usage and common market expectations.

* JIS SGP elongation depends on test piece/orientation; common minimums are indicated.
** ASTM A53 elongation is calculated/defined via tables; common minimum values are shown for typical conditions.
JIS: JIS G3452 (SGP) — Carbon steel pipes for ordinary piping.
ASTM: ASTM A53/A53M — Black and hot-dipped galvanized, welded and seamless pipe (common ordinary/pressure/mechanical usage).
EN: EN 10255 — Non-alloy steel tubes suitable for welding and threading (e.g., S195T).
GOST: GOST 10704 (dimensions) + GOST 10705 (technical conditions) for electric-welded steel pipes; also commonly referenced: GOST 3262-75 for water/gas pipes.
GB: GB/T 3091 (welded steel pipe for low-pressure fluid transportation), GB/T 13793 (ERW welded steel pipe) — available on request.
General utility piping (ordinary/low-to-moderate duty), including:
Building services: HVAC water lines, compressed air lines, drainage/utility supports (where permitted), fire protection piping (when specified by project standard).
Industrial utilities: Plant water, low-pressure steam distribution, general oil/air transfer lines.
Infrastructure & fabrication: Handrails, frames, brackets, light structural use (project-dependent).
