1cr13, 2cr13, 3cr13 belong to martensitic stainless steel, the main difference is that the carbon content is different:
The carbon content of 1Cr13 is 0.15%, 2Cr13 is 0.16-0.25% and 3Cr13 is 0.26-0.35%.
1cr13, 2cr13, can not be quenched directly, 3cr13 can be quenched directly.
1Cr13 semi-martensitic section steel has high strength, toughness, good corrosion resistance and machinability after quenching and tempering. It is mainly used for parts requiring high toughness, certain stainless property and bearing impact load, such as blades, fasteners, hydraulic press valves, thermal cracking anti-sulfur corrosion equipment, etc. It can also be used for equipment with weak corrosion resistance at room temperature and component 2Cr13 with high hardness and good corrosion resistance under quenching condition. It can be used for steam turbine blades.
3Cr13 is used as cutting tool, nozzle, valve seat, valve, etc. It has higher carbon content than 1Cr13 and 2Cr13 steels, so it has higher strength, hardness and hardenability. However, the corrosion resistance and thermal stability of the steel below 700 C are lower than those of 1Cr13 and 2Cr13, and the weldability of the steel is poor. It is used to manufacture structural parts with high strength, wear parts under high stress mechanical loads and some corrosive media, such as cutters and springs working below 300 C, axles, bolts, valves, bearings, seat and nozzles working below 400 C, etc. It is also used to manufacture measuring instruments and medical tools.
